Niger Reef Tea House

Niger Reef Tea House
Status: Work in progress
Created: 2010
Designed with: Drupal 6.x
This is the website that I did for my brother's restaurant in St. Andrews, NB. The website is designed to show off what the restaurant has to offer in both food and location. It is a simple and small side, by comparison, and the focus was to make it easy to use and update.

Sioux Hudson Literacy Council

Status: Completed
Created: 2010
Designed with: XHTML 1.0 / CSS2
This website was created for the Sioux Hudson Literacy Council and was strictly coded in XHTML 1.0 and CSS2. They requested a simply and clean design that was backwards compatible for Internet Explorer 6 and would quickly load on machines that used dial-up to connect. The site was designed with these in mind and to ensure a simple and easy to use interface.

National Adult Literacy Database

National Adult Literacy Database
Status: Work in progress
Launched: September 8, 2010
Designed with: Drupal 6.x
This is the main website for the National Adult Literacy Database. The site was redesigned over the previous year and a half in order to separate the content from the layout. Now that this has been completed, the next step of this project is to apply meta data to all of the content and develop a filter system that users can use to more precisely location information on this and her sister sites (NALD Library and Events). In the months that followed this launch, a mobile version of the site was planned and then launched to provide faster and easier access to mobile clients.

Order of the Raven

Order of the Raven
Status: Completed
Created: 2010
Designed with: Drupal 6.x
Order of the Raven use to be my old World of Warcraft guild. When they needed a new website my old guild leader Yukiri asked if I would be willing to run some ideas past him. This is the first site what I made custom graphical effects, like the claw marks. The site uses a few custom modules and the pages are mostly coded in php, including the recruitment form. This is the first time I have designed a website for viewable space greater than 1024 pixels in width, in this case 1200 pixels.
